Swampdonkey

I've been seriously impressed by the work of painter, photographer and world traveler Swampdonkey. This young man is continually moving across the country by freight car, finding time to throw up his signature mammoth skull, create gorgeous murals, and document the intriguing people he meets in his travels. He also manages to mount spectacular solo shows of his work from time to time, like this one last summer at Sweet Hickory Music & Art in Bloomington, Indiana. You can follow Swampdonkey's work and adventures at his impressive flickr page or at his in-need-of-updating website.
